T-light House No.86

As part of the Let It Snow collection, this contemporary porcelain two-storey house with pitch roof and chimney stack is intended to be lit by a t-light from within. Light will shine through the windows and door.

East of India is a small family business based in Kent which takes its environmental responsibilities very seriously. They have created a sustainable tree planting system in Indonesia which produces all the wood needed for their products. Trees are replanted to replace those felled. The land used is too dry for food production. They provide sustainable employment for their artisan workers giving them a living, using their traditional skills which have been passed down the generations.
